Normele actuale, actualizate ultima dat\u0103 \u00een 2014, trebuie s\u0103 \u021bin\u0103 pasul cu progresele tehnologice, cum ar fi sistemele de asisten\u021b\u0103 pentru conduc\u0103torii auto \u0219i prezen\u021ba tot mai mare a vehiculelor electrice pe \u0219osele. \u00cen plus, vehiculele foarte poluante \u0219i zgomotoase, de\u0219i relativ pu\u021bine la num\u0103r, sunt responsabile pentru o propor\u021bie dispropor\u021bionat\u0103 de emisii nocive. Normele actuale nu abordeaz\u0103 \u00een mod suficient poluarea aerului \u0219i zgomotul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parcul de vehicule \u00eenvechite cre\u0219te, de asemenea, riscul de fraudare a odometrelor (\u0219i anume, \u00eentoarcerea odometrelor pentru a face ca vehiculele s\u0103 par\u0103 c\u0103 au un kilometraj mai mic dec\u00e2t acestea). Combaterea acestei fraude necesit\u0103 norme actualizate.
